Charlene Chester Jermone

Charlene has served on the Board since 2022.

Charlene is a strong supporter of educational opportunities for multi-racial, culturally diverse populations, and is dedicated to serving the community. She brings her experience in international education, research and assessment, and leadership skills.

Charlene is the Assistant Dean for Administration and Outreach in the four College of Liberal Arts at Morgan State University. She is also a co-founder and co-director of the institution’s Center for Research and Experiential Study Abroad (CRESA). Her research investigates the development of family processes and parent socialization practices during early developmental periods in an effort to understand the factors which affect child development.
