Community Engagement And Training

TurnAround experts offer all year round, empowerment-based free prevention educational services on the issues of sexual assault, intimate partner violence, and human trafficking. Our experts are available to the community. Recognizing that these issues often affect individuals differently based on their gender identity, race, class, sexual orientation and more. So, all content and delivery is age and culturally appropriate, gender neutral, LGBTQ+ inclusive and can be tailored to our audiences.

Our team members are available during the week, in the evenings, and on the weekend. We recommend that you schedule as far in advance as possible, and every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred date and time.

Workplace Presentations and Trainings:

These sessions are appropriate for any kind of company or organizational setting and comprehensive of information sharing about TurnAround’s support services and other important resources for survivors and those supporting survivors.

Educational Programs for Children and Youth:

All our educational sessions with children and youth are free. We offer these sessions during school and at after-school meetings. We recommend limiting presentations for K-12 audiences to no more than 25 students at a time. We often spend several days at a school to meet with as many groups as possible.
