Wysheka Jacobs graduated with honors from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. In addition, she holds an Associate of Arts in Humanities and Social Science. Wysheka has been working in the field of direct Human Services for 8 years. Prior to direct Human Services, Wysheka worked in the field of direct Healthcare for 11 yrs. During her time in direct Healthcare services, she decided that Human Services was more rewarding.
Wysheka has certifications as a Certified Community Health Worker, CPR/First Aid through American Red Cross, Mental Health First Aid, Testing and Linkage to Care (TLC) and a Lifestyle Coach through the National Diabetes Prevention Program.
Wysheka enjoys connecting with community partners to network and identify key resources that can support those in need. With a passion to serve, Wysheka takes joy in providing education on community resources to those in need and a willingness to stand by one’s side until they are connected.
