The Survivor Advisory Council is a leadership opportunity for survivors who want to use their lived experience to help shape programs, services, events, and initiatives that impact survivors in our community.
The Council serves as a bridge between survivors and TurnAround, ensuring that survivor perspectives remain at the center of decision-making, program development, and community engagement. Members provide valuable feedback, identify opportunities for growth, and help strengthen survivor-centered practices throughout the organization.
What Council Members Do
- Participate in monthly meetings
- Provide feedback on programs, services, and initiatives
- Help shape survivor-centered events and activities
- Share ideas to improve support for survivors
- Advise on community outreach and engagement efforts
