If you have been sexually or physically abused, consider getting a forensic exam. Sexual Assault Forensic Exams can be conducted within 15 days of the sexual assault. Forensic exams for physical assaults, including strangulation and pain due to other injuries, can be conducted with 30 days of the assault.
